★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone on Earth should eat at Lupitas and order the chicken tacos on corn tortillas. Tacos are 65 cents, or 13 pesos, per taco. The flavor is unbeatable, and we traveled the entire length of Quintana Roo and most of the Yucatan. The tortas are also amazing. This tiny hole-in-the-wall cafe is a favorite of locals for lunch and dinner. As an American tourist, I will forever be dreaming of this place until we meet again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best chicken tacos ever, and SO CHEAP! I think I had 5 tacos, a couple of extra corn tortillas, and a Coke for less than $5 (USD). We accidentally came across Mama Lupita's on our trip, and I am so glad we did! The food was amazing! We made sure to schedule enough time to eat there a second time on our way back through. It was a little hot in there, but I just considered that part of the authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurant experience. I will definitely eat there again if I ever get the chance. I could eat my weight in those chicken tacos...
