Food was good and servings are big, but dishonest waiter. Instead of talking to me because he forgot to wrap up leftovers when asked, he kept talking to and blaming my 11 year old daughter

We loved this resaturant because it offers very authentic mexican food for a very reasonable price. The daily changing menu cost 145 M$ for a four course meal. 2 starters, 2 second courses, about 10 main courses and a few desserts to choose from. I had "bulls balls" very special indeed. The menu starts selling out after 3 PM. If you want to have the full choice of main courses come for lunch. Later they will still offer a la carte but the graet value is the menu. Also great for breakfast from 8 til 13.30

According to Mexican people habits, food time is between 2pm and 5pm. By 5pm you may not find food, depending on how many people they serve. The place is sorrounded by stores and people pasing by wants to eat something, so you will find the place crowded by that time, but do not worry there is a man lining up people and a hostess providing attention to the costumers. If you go alone you can sit at the bar. Although the place is big, you must wait maximum for 10 minutes to be seated. You do not share table with other people. The menu is not as diverse as in a restaurant because it is a 4-course meal (soup, rice, main dish, dessert with coffee). Beverages (jar of water, beer) and tips are not included. The main dishes they serve are palatable but different in price, so, the more elaborated, the more expensive I would say. The menu is very clear in spanish, naturally. The dishes are well served, so you get full by the time you finish your dessert. In conclusion the food is worth the price (9USD, 8EUR, 12CAD, 165MEX) approximately. There are old photographs hanged on walls, and there are mirrors, which give the place a familiar environment. If you are a foreigner, it is a good chance to mix with mexican traditions and taste typical mexican food.

English speaking lady (owner?) helped me with the menu, which I wasn't expecting. Home style food, tasty, good value. There was a 4 course menu del dia for 100 pesos which left me stuffed. The mango juice tasted so fresh compared to the swill we get sold back in Ireland. Very good.

Great place for breakfast. There are many options for eggs, almost every possible Mexican combination... Plus the attention is good. Very nice place.

I highly recommend this! It is like an old diner. I did not speak Spanish, but they were willing to work with me to make my visit great. They also offer combo prices that are very cheap that include coffee and juice! My bill was under 100 pesos. I will definitely return - highly recommend!
