★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La cruz de Doendhó, de vocablo otomí, es un monumento que hace referencia al acceso del pueblo de Jilotepec en su lado sur proveniente de la actual CDMX o lugares aledaños. Tallada en piedra basaltica tiene representaciones iconograficas de los primeros religiosos de orden franciscana que llegaron. Se conserva en su base original, para visitarla hay que procurar no subirse a la base y no dejar basura.
The cross of Doendhó, of Otomí word, is a monument that makes reference to the access of the town of Jilotepec in its south side coming from the current CDMX or nearby places. Carved in basalt stone, it has iconographic representations of the first religious of the Franciscan order who arrived. It is conserved in its original base, to visit it you have to try not to climb the base and leave no garbage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se trata de una cruz sobre la calle, con una historia interesante, está bonita, pero para ser una de las únicas joyas históricas y turísticas en el centro de Jilotepec, está muy abandonada. Primero, está muy escondida; segundo, la iglesia estaba cerrada, por lo tanto no había nada de gente. Estuve cerca de una hora ahí y ni un alma se acercó.
Ojalá le tomaran más importancia y rescataran esta clase de tesoros de nuestro país.
It is a cross on the street, with an interesting history, it is beautiful, but to be one of the only historical and tourist jewels in the center of Jilotepec, it is very abandoned. First, it is very hidden; second, the church was closed, therefore there were no people at all. I was there for about an hour and not a soul came near.
Hopefully they would take more importance and rescue this kind of treasures of our country.
