★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trail is about 1.2 kilometers to the monument and is well defined and in good condition. Only a couple of short narrow passages through rocks along the way. It appears accurately on Google Maps satellite view. Red paint marks some rocks along the way for guidance. From the monument trails lead further up into the park. I was told that waterfalls are evident during the rainy season and you can see where these occur. The view from the La Cruz site is wonderful.
