About La Cruz Market
The La Cruz Market began in 2010 as an idea among neighbors. The aim was to create an event that would appeal to the thousands of foreigners who visit Bahia de Banderas each year while at the same time allowing them to interact with local artisans in and around La Cruz. The La Cruz market has grown every year since its inception, now hosting around 200 vendors each Sunday.
With the growth of the market, our social projects has grown as well. All the work begins with listening to the community in order to identify needs, and then working with the board and community members in order to effectively and sustainably fulfill those needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Sunday morning market in La Cruz Huanacaxtle offers so much goodness! The combination of the vast array of food, the beautiful handmade jewelry, the plethora of unique art and the uber talented musicians truly draw the community together.
So many people gather here, it is difficult to get great photos. Here are just a few I shot today!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only food venders now. No artisans, VERY DISAPPOINTED!. We feel so bad for them as it’s there lively hood as well. Apparently only essential, so selling coffee, essential oils, etc are considered essential? Weird.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice markets with quality and unique items. There is also a variety of food available with vegan and vegetarian options. The only downside is the lack of shade because it’s hot? , hot ?, hot ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. Fantastico. All the vendors are local people that produce their own products. True artisans all. I never get too excited about local markets but let's just say my wallet was quite a bit lighter afterwards. Also the food and drink were wonderful. Great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was great, shops, music. Ambience. It will help to add more tables, shade in the eating area. I was looking for the Argentinean choripan, but they were not there this past Sunday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a ton of fun. Don't make the mistake we made: we thought the market in the park was the Sunday market. Get all the way out to the marina for the big market. There are a ton of really great vendors, amazing food. Nobody was pushy with us at all. It's just a great place to spend part of Sunday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice very open air market as it is now on the seaside of the marina. Much more space to wander than preCovid. Lots of vendors, food, crafts etc. February 2022. Masks, temperature and hand sanitizer at entrance.
