The staff are always welcoming. Great music and drinks. It is always a must stop for every trip to PV. Mario and Cheko are always there to welcome me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere and friendly staff and clientele. Bar had relocated late 2020 (September or November), and I stopped by on two nights in April 2021.
LGBT cantina-style bar (basic drinks, limited menu, cash only) seems to be frequented by locals, mostly bears and/or cowboys, with banda music videos playing on the TV’s. Spanish spoken primarily, but staff is completely bilingual. I happened to go solo both times, which made it easy to strike up conversations. Very relaxed and fun.
NOTE: There was some confusion on the map because there were two business entries, “La Cueva” and “La Cueva Cantina”, which the owner confirmed were the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly staff at a local (gay) bar with a bear / cowboy / macho crowd - although really anyone or everyone is welcome! Drinks are very reasonably priced and the staff are helpful and accomodating. Mostly videos playing regional music at a good volume so you can have a conversation with old (or new) friends!
