La Escollera MZT - 82040 Mazatlán

The place is decorated between vintage and rustic, being on the shore of a pier gives it a magical touch at night, since with its decoration and the landscape in which it is, they make it look super cool. The menu offered is delicious and the staff is very attentive to service and friendly with diners. Super recommended.

The breakwater is a 3.5 but there is no such rating so I round it up. Let's start with the good stuff. It is a place with a very good vibe: The hostess, the waiters, the chill music, everything, makes you have a good time. The view (especially with a full moon) is incredible and they have a small photo area. There are certain very tasty dishes (like hamburgers and drippings) and others ... decent (tapas) but at a good price. Uh, if you like mojitos: breakwater lemonade is delicious and very refreshing. The bad: the place with the best view (near the pier) is also the place that least hits the air, therefore it is hot even at night. The recommendation would be to sit near the entrance (except in winter). Another thing .. The big tables (not the benches) are very very uncomfortable. You will not be comfortable for more than an hour there. The very bad thing is that you should definitely go without hunger. I went on a very quiet night (there were several free tables) and, despite this, it took about an hour to bring my dishes (it also happened to the other tables, so I can say that I was not an isolated case). The important thing to note is that as of August 20, 2021 they do NOT accept a card (although there are transfers) that well, for the place one would expect that service. In conclusion, it is a very good place with a very good vibe .. very nice, but definitely go without hunger or just wanting to binge and have a few drinks .. and remember to bring cash. It is very good for outings with friends, family or with your partner.

Without a doubt, La Escollera will always be a great option to visit in Mazatlan, the place has an incredible view, the attention of the staff is fast and attentive, a very cozy place, an incredible option for any occasion. The food, Uf, how cool!, from the plating to the flavor of each dish.
