★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited family in Mexico City from the US and made it a requirement that I needed to try these tortas de chilaquiles. These are truly magical. I had the green chilaquiles with chicken milanesa. This is the definition of the phrase "greater than the sum of its parts". Only 50 pesos at the time and I bought two because they were that good. I will be visiting every chance I get.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING! Must try local staple in Mexico City! Be prepared to order when it’s your turn:
Red or Green Chilaquiles
Milanesa or pollo adobado
Everything is delicious ! We sat in the shady median across the street after getting drinks at the small convenience store will
Be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So interesting and surprisingly good. Best for a hearty meal to quell a hangover but nothing really worth waiting in line for hours for (we only waited 15 minutes but I’ve read that the lines can get wild).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 10 mins in line and got charged sixty pesos for a chicken, green salsa, cheese and slaw torta. I asked for the green but realized the green had a long lingering spice so when i finished half, it was too spicy to finish. Al in all, I don’t think it’s worth a long wait

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw it on Netflix and YouTube, had to try it. Worth the drive out of the way and it was very tasty and delicious. We asked for a mixed green and red and everything else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I promise you, this torta is not overrated. In fact, La Esquina De Chilaquil offered me the best meal I had in Mexico City. I arrived around 8:30-8:45 ish, waited 5 to 10 minutes top to order my torta, which was quickly handed to me. It cost 50MXN (roughly $2.50 USD). I ordered the verde with milanesa and was not disappointed! A definite must if you’re staying in Condesa or Roma!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good tortas. Bread was fresh, chicken is a but dry and sits warming in a cooler. Overall, the flavours were good. It's worth visiting, but you need to go early.
How to Order: There is no menu, but it sounds like there are a couple options to consider: Pollo (Chicken) or Cochino (Pork/ Pig) or La Bomba (has both!) with Red or Green Chile (Verde).
Cost $50-60MX/ sandwich. Line-up starts when they open, but it moves quickly. I suggest arriving before 9.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A massive delicious sandwich but the line is very long
I probably waited close to 40 mins in line. At the end I was rewarded with a handful of breaded chicken breast, cheese, and sauce. The best part of the sandwich was definitely the cheese. Even though I enjoyed my meal, I couldn't wait in that line again.
