Finca La Estramancia es un viñedo boutique que cultiva uvas Malbec, Tempranillo y Syrah para desarrollar vinos rosado, tinto y espumoso. Situada en la Ribera Sur del Lago de Chapala, en San Luis Soyatlán, abrimos nuestras puertas para vivir una experiencia enoturística, así como para degustar nuestros vinos.

About La Estramancia Winery

Durante 2015 buscó la tecnificación para lograr transformar los cultivos en un viñedo que produjera vinos de calidad. Un vitivinícola queretano y amigo cercano del propietario, fue el contacto con el ingeniero Trinidad Jiménez, actual agrónomo de Finca la Estramancia, quien maneja varios viñedos en México.

Durante los primeros tres años se realizaron dos cosechas, la de verano y la de invierno. A partir de 2016, se realiza una sola cosecha para propiciar el fortalecimiento de la planta, siendo los meses de junio y julio cuando sucede la vendimia o corte de uva.

Sin embargo, en comparación con otros viñedos/catas donde siempre dan a probar 3 vinos, considero que esta mal que solo den degustación de 2 vinos por el coste de entrada, realmente es muy poco lo que se ofrece. The vineyard is very beautiful, its owners very passionate and we had an excellent time with the family. Cuando lo descubrí me pareció raro que en Jalisco se cosechara uva para la producción de vino. Después de asistir al lugar, créanme que es algo que vale la pena conocer. Se hace un recorrido, y te presentan el proyecto… Después una degustación. Para quien toma vino como yo, lo disfrutarán. El precio es razonable, y deben ser puntuales. Producen Vino Malbec, vino rosado, tempranillo. Producen mermelada de uva que realmente es una delicia. Se agenda la visita con grupos compactos. Hay dos formas de llegar, en carro o en lancha. Si en lancha! Sólo tienes que especificar al agendar. Sin duda volveré… An excellent experience, a very nice place. With an interesting project. Friendly and personal attention. It's a vineyard only, hard to find as there are no signs....even with Google Maps. 700 pesos per person for a 'tour' that is nothing more than the plants itself. Includes a nicely set out array of canapés, and two (2oz) glasses of wine. Nice for an afternoon out with friends...but really, they don't give much for value.
