Cuenta con áreas verdes, un zoológico que actualmente está fuera de servicio. Un aviario que también está vacío. Hay zonas para comer, y otras donde además de mesas y techos hay asadores para asar la carne o otros alimentos. También hay juegos para los niños, tales como resbaladillas, columpios, castillitos, castillo medieval con resbaladillas para que los niños jueguen. Hay una explanada donde hacen espectáculos. A un lado del parque metropolitano la eucalera, está el núcleo de feria en el cual los domingos se ponen muchos puestos de comida y cosas usadas. Al otro lado está la unidad deportiva que cuenta con muchas canchas para práctica diferentes deportes. Esta bonito como jardín pero desgraciadamente se perdió un pulmón importante de la ciudad, pelaron y quitaron muchos árboles, ahora ni se siente fresco, está invadido de mosquitos, ni siquiera le procuran buen mantenimiento, tienen un "zoológico" abandonado, instalaciones desperdiciadas, etc. Ni el lago que hicieron se ve limpio, es un foco de infección.
