★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good liquor selection and at good peices. I took off one star after I tasted the 1800 Milenio tequila recommended by the sales person there. He was the expensive tequilla expert and he said he tries this one. At over 2,000 pesos for the bottle I expected something as smooth and aged as Cava de Oro extra anejo. This is an extra anejo with a pretty bottle that tastes like a good anejo for less than half the price. Good store if you know what you want, don't take their advice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge choice of wines and liquors from Mexico and the world. Surprisingly some specialities foods like cheese and chamon serrano or italian prosciutto are also available. Not to bargain price but original quality: imported. Parking available. Sunday's alcohol beverages to sell until 5 pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're from the U.S., La Europea is comparable to Total Wine. Well organized, nice selection of both local & global brands. They even have a nice selection of snacks/appetizers/charcuterie etc. The only downside is that they have very limited cocktail mixers. But to be fair, this seems to be Mexico in general, not just La Europea. Mixers don't seem to be common down here.

With of course a great variety of wines, beers and other alcoholic drinks, but the gourmet area with imported food and the options for canned food as well as spices makes it very interesting to visit. There are a corner of cookware and glassware as well for conocieurs mostly.
