★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely fortunate to know that place in person! The environment it's good, the food it's also good and of course the drinking it's pretty nice. You go wit an other person or a group, you have a classic Mexican cantina!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must go to cantina when in Mexico City. Cheap beer and free snacks. Has a jukebox but dj was spinning when we were there. Not too loud. Awesome place, will definitely visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A traditional Mexican cantina with a relaxed but fun ambience. Every time I go it is busy but not too busy that you have to wait for a table. The drinks are strong and service is fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good and great price. Music is good too since there is a music box with a vast variety. The place has personality, the only downside in my opinion is the few drink options... but i guess that's part of the concept, specially when there is only one waiter fit the whole place.
I will definitely go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m usually client, but yesterday la faena disappointed me, faena was the icon of traditional Mexican contemporary scene, I never thought that I need pay $500 for enter to drink very bad beer and listen the worse music but that’s the point of faena right now is an elitist place, racist, fascist and gentrificaded place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well they actually “close” at 10:30 and once we have the nice man at the door a “propina” for a group of 7 people we were let in. That said it was a wonderful experience.
