La Fonda Tulum - 77760 Tulum

I was in Tulum over a month ago and I still think about this restaurant every other day it was so good. I thought I left a review earlier. I found this restaurant by accident as my Airbnb was further from the main town than I expected and I got in a bit late and didn’t want to have to go far and this was around the corner, and I’m so glad it was. I was in town for three days and I literally went here every single day. The crab tostada is to die for. My mouth is watering thinking about it ? The ravioli was delicious, the salsas were yummy and perfectly spicy. I am sad lobster season was delayed when I was visiting so I didn’t get to try the lobster ravioli but I would make a trip to Mexico just to go here again. Also the manager is the sweetest and so helpful, and the atmosphere is lovely. This is a must stop when in Tulum.

Deliciousness! We were the only ones there early on a Saturday evening- everyone else was missing out on the perfect pasta (lobster ravioli), and the bruschetta was AMAZING! The service was attentive yet not overbearing. Perfect mojitos and salsas. Leave the hotel zone and get some of the best Italian food on the continent.

If you like seafood, this is your place to go. We had bruschetta, grilled octopus, grilled fish and ceviche. Each dish was amazing. The olive oil in bruschetta was very aromatic. Octopus was cooked to perfection, and fish and ceviche was also so delicious. We also had seafood at the beach area, which was good but this is something else. If you really want to treat yourself, just go to La Fonda.

La Fonda Tulum was ah-mazing! The hospitality and the food was incredible! Some of the freshest seafood cooked in the best way to showcase the seafood. The manager/bartender was super friendly, as well as our server. They also have a kitty who is super friendly. It was perfect ambience for us, amongst their banyan tree. We will be back for more delicious food before we leave Tulum!!!

Being vegetarian in a seafood restaurant, I didn't expect much but I was blown away! The spinach ravioli was incredible and so were the chips and salsa. Not to mention it was the most polite and friendly service I've received in Tulum. Love that the owner talks to the customers. I just recommend bug spray for the mosquitos at night as they were eating my alive. Thank you for a great meal! ?

My favorite Seafood with an Italian twist in all Tulum. Margaritas are the best, fresh pasta and the freshest seafood in town. It’s on my to do list every time I pass trough Tulum.

Lovely place, quite and peaceful. Tacos were fresh and dessert was delish! The owner stopped by our table to ask how we liked the food, we ended up having a great chat.

La Fonda is welcoming with its charming decor, the curry chicken I ordered was delicious with great presentation, the jumbo shrimp was also amazing, they have 2 cats there n one of them was scratching my boyfriends arm for his jumbo shrimp, was pretty funny. The portion is not very big which I’m ok with since I like to finish all my food, very reasonable price too! But be ready for the mosquitos. Do love the bathroom though.
