★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there yesterday July 8 2020. Beautiful patios very widely spaced tables with good hygiene. Had the chilli bowl with potato wedges and a margarita. Great as usual. Love this new place a friendly nicely decorated restaurant. Going again today! A pleasure to sit outside and enjoy the ambience there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have loved this "warm and familiar" atmosphere for years. The new location is a winner. With comfort food (Chicken fried steak and chicken, mac and cheese) to GOOD Mexican food (Drowned Burrito, fish tacos)
La Frontera is a favorite. The grilled shrimp is cooked perfectly. Salude to the chef.
The owner, goes out of her way to make it a popular dining experience...and it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an enchilada dish that was outstanding. The flavors of enchiladas, cheese, and meat were enhanced with perfectly applied seasoning. The staff was accommodating and genuinely friendly and helpful. They have an amazing variety of dishes that would please any appetite. We will definitely be returning!

It is billed as "Mexican American Comfort Food" which is about right, though my taco salad was better than any I've eaten in the states. My husband's organic chicken plate was very tasty. Chicken grilled to perfection, lots of vegetables and a perfectly baked sweet potato. Very reasonable prices because on a neighborhood street in Colonia San Antonio next to Centro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food. The hamburger and enchiladas were delicious. The menu caters to USA expats or tourists. They may have been understaffed when we visited as it took almost an hour to get our food. Lucky for us we weren't that hungry and we were enjoying the evening. I would return.
