★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Believe the hype. This place is fantastic. Not so sure about the sandwiches--they're good, but more expensive than other options and less portions.
But that's the ONLY negative thing I can say... Just go here.
Get pasta or pizza. Likely 2 dishes can serve 3 people, for sure 3 will do 4.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite restaurants in town. They make the best bread in Puerto Escondido served fresh and warm with butter and herbed yogurt. The pastas and pizzas and fish are all great but honestly I go for the bread. They also serve a great breakfast, I'm usually the only person dining in the mornings. (Recommend the omelette with cuitlacoche.) This is one of the oldest restaurants in town, dating back to the middle 80s! Has a warm atmosphere with lots of art, and you can people-watch from the open front.

Try speaking Spanish, even if you butcher it, trying to speak their language is respectful and often our attempts are entertaining to Owaxacans. Our waitress was cracking up! Excellent, fresh food. Nice place. Nice people.
