★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality is average. The guacamole and corn chips were great. On this day, the chicken definitely wasn't fresh and had no flavor. You can take a taxi or drive 3.0 km from Chichén-Itzá to get there.

We are staying in an Airbnb in Xocenpich down the road (I advise you to look into it) $450 for a month for a whole 3br, 2ba house that has plenty of room to easily sleep 10 people comfortably. There are a few places down the street also that are really good too... Everything in Piste is good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Along the road heading to Chichen Itza you will run into a little town called Piste. I stopped for a quick bite in La Gran Chaya. I got four salbutes, two cochinita pibil, two pavo, and a chaya con lima drink which I absolutely love! The salbutes were delicious as well, with the habanero sauce that rules in this part of the country. I highly recommend, the service is outstanding, the food is delicious!
