★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A visit to this gallery is a must. A short walk from the town center in the "hip" Colonia Guadalupe. The work is both fascinating and beautiful. This was by far one of our very favorite galleries in San Miguel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this gallery! Lena's work is so intriguing. She uses the idea of huipiles (traditional blouses worn by native women in Mexico and Guatemala) as a jumping off point to explore issues relating to society, exploitation, etc. You wouldn't believe how beautiful these works are! And Lena is happy to talk about the work... or just leave you to wander around. The space itself is in a Mexican home at the edge of the vibrant Colonia Guadalupe, just nearby to the famous Via Organica restaurant and market. Definitely worth a visit.
