Chichen Itza is a must-see when going to Mexico. Beautifully preserved pyramids and many other ruins that catch the eye. You can feel the mysterious world of the Maya here and imagine what it was like. In the town itself, the Maya also trade and you can buy souvenirs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Part of the "Las Monjas" complex, La Iglesia is a small but very beautiful building adorned by mosaics and wonderful Cha'ak masks. No access to the interior is available but traces of stucco still remain on parts of the roof.
