La Isla de las Aves Park - Nezahualcóyotl

Nice place with beautiful views, especially the sunrise and in the afternoon, very clean, the only thing is that the bathrooms have to be poured with water with a bucket but they are clean. Very affordable costs, $50 entrance to the park, includes parking and transportation to the island in the round trip. There are 3 well equipped cabins with refrigerator stove and hot water. It is convenient for you to bring your food because there is a stall that sells tacos and quesadillas but then it runs out, they also sell candies and beers.

On the other hand, there is no water for the bathrooms or paper, so it is better to be forewarned. In the rest, if you go early it is excellent since there are hardly any people.

The place is very quiet, away from the city if you are looking to relax. Remember to bring food as there are no stores nearby. There are grills where you can cook or you can bring prepared food. You can get to the island in a boat that gives you a little turn. On the way back you can use the zip line that passes over the dam. There are cabins for rent. The bathrooms were clean but you had to put water in with a bucket. There are not many birds as I suppose there was time ago. In general it is a good place to spend a pleasant family time, rest and be in contact with nature.

A very nice place, away from civilization, ideal to shoot a cane, it is quite relaxing to enjoy the tranquility that the place offers, thinking of the name of the dam I assumed there were birds or similar but I did not visualize anything hehe, the entrance yes It is somewhat complicated, in case I knew if it entered correctly or by private property (I asked for permission of course), in general it is very nice to throw beer, have a beer, I invite you to take care of the place and not litter.

Half the lake is dry, it doesn't really look like an island. There is a camping area, you can leave your car next to your camp, they sell bundles of firewood for $ 50, they last a good time (about 2 hours). The bathrooms are dirty, without paper or hand soap and without water (you have to use buckets). Little bird zoo is small not many birds ... The way to get there is dirt. Inside it has a kiosk to make a barbecue for several people, there are also tables with shade distributed throughout the place. It has a zip line, you jump from the island to the other side of the lake and return by boat. During the day (from 11am to 5pm) there are stalls selling only soft drinks and snacks, NOT food, preferably prepared. In general, the place is beautiful, perfect to go to relax or party, they let the speaker and music play at high volume, points to improve are the bathrooms and the friendliness of the guards.
