★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not stay here the place is full of dog owners who let their dogs bark day and night, they leave their dogs in their gardens all day. It is literally like staying in a dog zoo. Also the photos that you see here are of Alegranza not of La Joya. The buildings of La Joya are ugly and poorly kept.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks nice but it's far removed from anywhere. It's very off the beaten path and you get a sense that it's a prison. I get it, it's a gated community. But highly unappealing. You need a car to get out and see anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, overpriced and quality of construction is very poor. One of my friend owns one, constructed less than an year ago - water leaking constantly during every rain. In Playa it rains a lot many months of the year. Proportions of cement they use is very low and no good send for construction in this area
