What a beautiful escape! Easy communication, stunning design, spa-like suite, off the beaten path but still close to town, whales breaching at sunset, salt water swimming pool and tropical gardens. Come here to relax and reconnect. I will return.

About as nice a place as I could ever hope to stay. Very peaceful vibe around the property with just the sound of the crashing waves to lull you to sleep, and a short hop/skip/jump into Sayulita when you want to get in on some action. The perfect mix.

My wife and I loved La Joya. Generous-sized rooms with lots of thoughtful touches, in a breathtakingly beautiful location. The public areas - decks, pool and beach - are exquisite. Great to be close to, but not in Sayulita, a pleasant 20-minute walk away. Warm, friendly staff too!

La Joya is by far the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to. Every detail has been considered. Let’s start with the property - beautiful stonework and tile, lovely gardens, the most beautiful pool area you could ever hope for and a secluded, stunning beach front. The rooms - very well appointed and minimal. The materials used are organic yet luxurious. Plenty of hot water (which is not a given in Mexico), comfortable beds and an unbelievable view of the ocean right from your bed. We were lulled to sleep every evening by the waves which is just about the most relaxing thing that you could ever ask for. Proximity to town - we loved being out of the hubbub of Sayulita while still being close enough to enjoy it when we felt like it. Driving golf carts around was one of the highlights of the trip, so fun!! The hosts are extremely professional, considerate and kind. Don’t hesitate to book this place. If you can’t relax here, you can’t relax anywhere.

Consider yourself lucky if you’re considering staying here. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel where each detail of design get noticed! The views are breathtaking. The beds are so comfortable. The beach is a short stairway down from the pool, the hot tub is perfect for those moonlit night. This is the perfect spot for a couple looking for a trendy and upscale vacation to Sayulita. We loved avoiding the hustle and bustle of the town but that it was only a short 7 minute cart ride away! Will be coming back here soon!
