Omg such an amazing cantine tapas bar, we are vegan and we left full, we had a blast. It is so good it is crazy!

Spent a few hours here last Friday afternoon, and had a great time. Simple place, loud but not rowdy. Good snacks, as everyone mentions.

One of my favourite spots in town. The owner and staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is about as authentic as it gets. As it’s a cantina, you get tapas-like foods with your drinks and the quality is stunning every time.

We stayed in Valladolid for about two weeks. We found this place through a friend who lives in Valladolid. In short we went back multiple times and had a blast each time we were there. Jorge an all staff were friendly and the wonderful botanos just kept coming. The beer was ice cold and the vibe was very authentic and touristy like some other places we visited. At the end of our last week we literally stood and wait for the place to open because within 30 minutes each day we were there the place was full. My favorite place to hang out. The owner and the staff were consistently kind and courteous and made us feel to home. Jorge even gave us some sikil pak to take home. We offer to pay for it and he said no and enjoy. Amazing cantina, the first in Valladolid, full of both locals and tourists. We ordered cold beer and received a botana, tapas, of local food. Great place to mix with the locals!

La Joyita Cantina is a dive type bar where locals like to hang out. Cheap beer and surprisingly good appetizers.
