Located in a side-street, off Nuevo Laredo's beaten path, La Laguna is a charming bar and grill affair that serves decent seafood, as well as traditional Mexican cuisine.
Service is warm and friendly, and prices are fair for a place this close to the border. Food is also of good quality, with big portions served.
