La Loma Linda - 70904 Zipolite

Review for restaurant. Went yesterday, they served me a papaya far from being ready and they still wanted to charge me. Girls behind the counter have no sense of customer service. Also "avena caliente" was was undercooked. A couple of stars for the nice peaceful atmosphere and view.

This place has kept the spirit of the 70ies Zipolite and retreives your stay with a splendid view over the beach. The sound of the waves and mild climate will let you suender to peace and gratefulness as soon as you arrive.

Bungalow hotel with a commanding view of the ocean. The rooms are simple and clean with adjoining large patio spaces complete with hammocks and furniture. The beach front is steps away. Many that board here extend the stay.

I hopped around a lot in the little charming town of Zipolite, and this hotel sanctuary has been by far my favorite place I have stayed. Every bungalow (I slept in 3 different ones due to my own erratic planning) has its own charm and personality. The bungalows are uniquely furnished and constructed but all have an incredible isolated view of the ocean. I have been fortunate to have traveled all around the world, but few places have impressed me to the level of this place. What impressed me the most is how nice the owner was with me. She was so accommodating and kind, beyond what was necessary. My only regret is not having taken one of the many yoga classes that they offer. I will be back soon for yoga and lodging soon.

I just has the most beautiful restorative yoga class with Iza. She's such a genuine, insightful and experienced teacher. It gave me the rare moment of coming home to the body. I would highly recommend you to try it for yourselves.

I saw the place from the beach and I went inside to ask for info for my next visit next month. The person attending, and old woman with blue eyes and foreign accent, was mean and rude to me like never before in a hospitality business. She made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and wanting to get out ASAP. If you are thinking about booking here, bare in mind you’ll have to be dealing with this personality that has no idea about what being in the hospitality business means. Further more, here in México we take pride on being very friendly and welcoming with visitors. There are hundreds of places nearby with super friendly and happy personal. Why bother dealing with a sad and angry lady instead.

Great spot atop overlooking all of Zipoliti to watch the beautiful sunset. Short stroll to any Beach and all the restaurants you could want. Easy access and beautifully-designed rooms.

My stay in La Loma Linda was my best time in Mexico! I don't know if the man who wrote that horrible 1-star review ever worked in hospitality, but I have and it's really stressful when an additional guest shows up when everything is fully booked! This is not a reason to leave this wonderful small family-run business a bad review. Christina is the name of the woman he mentions and she is lovely and resourceful - and a talented artist. The ATMs often don't work from Zipolite to Mazunte, and she kindly lent me money trusting that I would pay it back when I returned home. The bungalows are built in an environmentally conscious way, they are beautifully kept, you can hear the waves at night, the staff are all wonderful. Dieter (the owner) goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that all of his guests are enjoying their stay. I can highly recommend them - and will definitely stay there again.
