This is definitely a great way to learn something about the history of pirates and naval battles in the Mazatlan area. The swashbuckling pirate who guides you through the museum is fantastic.
The museum itself is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great experience and the tour was available in English. The guide was captain Ana and she was very interactive and accommodating. We have a 2 and 5 year old and they asked to go to the bathroom quite frequently. We also sampled the rompope (like eggnog with rum). The kids enjoyed a pirate toy at the end of the trip that were reasonably priced.
