★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on Friday night specifically for grill/barbecue night. However they did not have any steaks or ribs available, only fish, shrimp and hamburgers. We had 2 servers, one fabulous the other terrible. The woman server told us dessert was not included when we knew it was. The bartender server came by a few mins later and asked us which dessert we wanted. Beers were supposed to be 2x50 but we were charged 35 each. The red snapper had so. many. bones. Every bite I was pulling out pins. Zero effort was made to remove any. The 3 sides were a very cold scoop of mashed potatoes, cold pasta with pesto and some frisée. Beautiful garden and sunset view. Trendy ambiance.
Update. We went again on a normal night. It was my husbands favorite meal over the last 10 days. We had great service too. If you decide to go in grill night I recommend reservations or arriving early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Hacienda Eden for dinner at La Manzanita and were very disappointed. I had made reservations and when we arrived we felt unwelcome. There were no other people there for dinner unlike when it was the Jardin De Eden. The food was the worst we had ever had during all the years that we've been dining in Ixtapa and Zihua. We were four people and all of us were totally disgusted. Even the desserts were terrible! Hacienda Eden needs to change the restaurant. I feel sorry for the people who stay at this beautiful resort and forced to eat the food on the premises.
