★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar está muy bonito para camping, el costo por persona es de $150 Y se los pagas a la tía Lulú que es la que vive ahí, puedes prender fogata y ahí mismo te venden la leña muy económica también hay baños regaderas y luz eléctrica, muy bonito.

Lulu te puede preparar unos desayunos exquisitos que incluyen galletas hechas por ella. Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y bonitas. También tiene mucho espacio para acampar.
A quiet and very beautiful place on the shores of Cuatro Cienegas where you can breathe the peace of the desert. It has an amazing view of several hills. Lulu can prepare you delicious breakfasts that include cookies made by her. The rooms are very cozy and pretty. It also has a lot of space for camping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was surprised despite reading information that there were several places to camp here that La Maquina was the only place I found despite asking various locals.
It is a rather nondecript place located just outside of town on the highway to Ocampo. You can't miss the entrance sign.
There are 4 generations of a family that own this place which was years ago a grain mill. The lady who runs the place is very nice and accommodating. She does speak some English.
Cuatro Cinegar is located in the desert so it was still quite hot during the 3 days I spent here the 2nd week of October and cooled somewhat at night. My biggest complaint was the flies everywhere and they seem to be most prevalent from 12:00noon to 6:00pm during the warmest time of day. The campground does have some shade but it is minimal.
There is electricity at the one large palapa and bathrooms/toilets. There is hot water if you request but it was so warm during the day that I took cold water showers. This place can accommodate RVs as well as tents. It is a short drive to stores and gas in town.
I would have stayed here a couple of days more had it not been for the intense heat and constant flies since I was tent camping. That is why I gave this place a 3-star instead of 4.
