★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comida casera. Home cooking like my wife's grandmother use to make for me. Although not flashy, the molletes (toasted rolls with beans and melted cheese and green salsa on the side) are my favorites. The cafe con leche is good...the waitress will ask you how much coffee to add to the glass before she pours the hot milk. The milkshakes are fabulosos!

Good to note it can also be mistaken for a retirement home hehe.
Good taste hasn't changed, tasty and very simple. Don't expect anything amazing, there aren't chefs here. This is a diner.
You'll see many elderly people eating here so don't expect anything fun.
I am giving them 3 stars because the waiting area needs more attention. All the waitresses would pass by and would ignore everyone who wanted to put their name on the list.
Service was extremely slow, even the bill took forever to arrive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Mexican food. Very popular place still even though it's been in business for 8 decades. We waited for good 20 mins to get a table for 7 but it's worth it. Food is excellent and very reasonable priced. Friendly and helpful staff. If you like sweet, they have plenty for you too.
