★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is very is nice to walk around. I dont recommend anyone to eat here just because I dont think the food is clean. The small near the station is really bad crosse contamination in food is unreal. Dont eat, enjoy the seance and bring a good mask

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting market. Make sure you know where the exits are though - the scorched roof is from the last fire in 2019. Looks like some earthquake maybe wasn’t really repaired ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is overflowing with people and things! It is insane! You can find anything you can think of here. The place is very dirty, not very organized but I like the chaos of it. There is food everywhere! We stopped at two places and they were delicious! Every stand is different so eat at your own risk, we fortunately did not get sick haha. I would go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for all your grocery needs. Near by you will also find markets for kitchenware, clothing, toys, pets, and everything else. Some excellent food stands throughout as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be prepared to be overwhelmed. Miles of pathways for fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, beef, and pork. The market seems to start blocks before you even get to the building. You can find almost anything there. Lots of household items, clothing, street food, and candy. I spend 2 hours walking 6 miles around and in the Mercado. It's a must visit for tourists. Locals will tell you don't go it's only food. If you miss this Mercado you will miss a great adventure of your senses. ????
