Emanuel recommended to do the sunset tour in the afternoon through the mangroves to see the flamingos. It was awesome!!! A great experience. Emanuel was a perfect guide and then he took wonderful fotos of us. Thank you so much!

Very friendly staff in an extremely simple restaurant. Very good location and clear menu choices, explained in English or Spanish. The food was good, but not exceptional and the pricing was about 50% above what I'd expect in Mexico for equivalent food.
If this restaurant were an Uber it would have done enough for a 5 star trip... Solid, but not exceptional. An enjoyable experience and I'd go back if I were in Rio Lagartos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! The best fish we've ever had. Emanuel is a great guy who gave us really valuable recommendations for Rio Lagortos and for our further trip. What's also really important: In Rio Lagortos there is no restaurant which sell vegetarian food. But in this place they offer a really delicious vegetarian dish. Just ask for it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small seafood restaurant with quite simple menu (which is rather an advantage), with fish, octopus, lobster and fresh ceviche on the menu. It’s a rather slow food place, a warning for impatient folk. Owner is very friendly and would explain menu dish by dish. Our two kinds of fish were very decent (200 MXN each), yet we felt it was slightly too much for what it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the place to go for food when you are in Rio Lagartos. Don't be fouled by its simplicity, the seafood offered is excellent and super fresh. That's why you need to accept that it takes its time to prepare, so order and go for a walk outside :) the fish/shrimp/octopus ceviche was just amazing! The lobsters were also very good! Priced correctly. I totally recommend and would go back again if in Rio Lagartos.
