★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Resort Bar/Restaurant.. the service was impeccable. I took my boyfriend out deep sea fishing for his 50th birthday. We caught 11 mahi-mahi. brought them back and and ask the chefs to prepare some for dinner for us. they cooked it superbly. I gave three full fillets to each one of the chefs for doing such an excellent service. The guacamole was outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant has a great vibe, lots of indoor seating and lots of room on the patio overlooking the beach. The servers and other workers are very nice as well! However, the food did not impress me. They have lots of lunch/dinner options yet only a few mexican options! I was expecting mexican food since this is at a resort in Mexico but that wasnt the case, they didnt even have spanish rice (red rice) which was a little disappointing for me as I am a mexican american and that's a must have at family meals. The chips are salsa were great though, with the salsa having a little spicy kick to it. Average food overall, friendly service (however very slow everytime to get the check) but I still ate there and enjoyed the food I did have

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. Caught mahi mahi on fishing tour, chefs cooked it up. Very delicious. All staff was very friendly and attentative. Flaming spanish coffee's a must try here. Would be great if a little music could be played. Celebrated my 50th birthday here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Palapa is simply fantastic. Amazing food and even better service, with a location and view to match! You cannot go wrong with their super nachos or fajitas. The ceviche is incredible and the guacamole is just perfect. Highly recommend the imperial shrimp if you're feeling a little extra. Top it all off with an excellent happy hour twice a day... Why would you want to go anywhere else?
