★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As Friendly and nicely decorated this place is, I was still disappointed. The coffee was cold and did not taste fresh. I thought it was 35pesos but then they charged me 45pesos when I asked for milk in my coffee. (I originally asked for coconut or almond milk but they don’t have that here.
I would never recommend this place.

Is a nice traditional spot where you can find popular mexican meals. Relation quality-price is really good.
I recommend you to try chilaquiles divorciados (with Green & red sauce). If you don't like spicy ask for the Green ones.
Also taquitos de pollo (chicken taquitos) they are sooooooo good!
Join your meal with a fresh orange-strawberry fresh Juice.
The location is Cancún downtown market 28, where you can buy handcraft souvenirs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprised by the great food! And the cheap prices. (I had a lunch combo with soup, main course, dessert, and drink for 100 pesos.) And, after nearly six months in Mexico, I am quite confident to distinguish proper Mexican food from that which pretends to be. La Patrona is definitely your choice if you seek authentic Mexican cuisine in a town where you more often then necessary find only tourist versions of what would be much better without any westernised extra touch. I had the Enchildas de Mole which were really good. If this was not my last day in town, I would definitely come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Patrona is an excellent and relatively affordable option for breakfast/brunch in the Cancun downtown area. Choices are plentiful on the menu including juices, flavored water, and smoothie.
The decent portion size of delicious enchilada came at 95 pesos.
One can also enjoy beautiful, clean seating area for dine-in in a not so busy part of Cancun downtown.
