Absolutely wonderful. Great staff excellent service. Made vegetarian fajatas with no problem. I know that it's a seafood restaurant But a vegetarian option on the menu would be great

We went deep sea fishing and came back with three yellow tail, took them to La Pepita where they cooked them up! They added some rice and some chips and some excellent service and ambience, and it was all good. this is one of those places where you can dig your toes into the sand while you have dinner, so how cool is that?

The food was excellent especially the fish soup. Unfortunately the service by George turned out a disaster at the end. I want to use my credit card for a 400 pesos bill but George told me that they have no credit card terminal. I have to gather literally all my cash to pay the bill. Of course for tip was not much left that made George angry. Two days later I took my friend back because the soup was delicious. The bill come out around 800 pesos . We gave George 1000 pesos. He told us that he is running low with cash. My friend like ok than this diner was free ( since we though no credit card is accepted). George immediately responded that we can pay by credit card which was surprising . He want to take my credit card but I told him I am coming with him.while a lady was charging on my card George telling me that I need to give a nice tip which is for the personal not for him. I got really upset and I didn’t put on credit card any tip and left with my friend. I don’t think I will ever or my friend return to this place and make sure that many expats know about our incident. There is two building further another fish place where the service was excellent as the food!

Not impressed with the ceviche. Just seemed like the veg, cilantro and shrimp were put on the plate and served. We brought the fish we'd caught that day (grouper) and they cooked it for us. The rice was room temperature at best, the salad was just that, and the fish was deep fried. No seasoning, and it was a little overcooked. It was not busy but even the service was a bit off. I needed a new fork (the tines if the fork were all bent). After waiting a couple of minutes before getting a waiter's attention, it was another several minutes before (after a reminder) that I got a new fork. By the time it arrived, my fish was pretty cold. We left feeling 'meh'. I had heard some good things about the restaurant. We'll give it another try, perhaps.

I loved the vaulted ceilings and authentic feel. The space is large and great if you have kids as they can have some room to move around. Unfortunately the food was pretty mediocre. I ordered one of the shrimp dishes which came with a sauce and literally about 2 Tbsp of rice, really skimpy. The service was pretty good and our waiter was very nice

Came here couple of times for their fried fish. The price depends on size & weight. The waiter showed me 2 Boquinete ( Hog fish) & asked which one I wanted. I had a lemonade too. You can choose what kind of sauces on it too. It was fresh. Bill came out 493 pesos. The place has live music the last time we were here. Dip your toes in the sand while you eat.
