Nice place but terrible service. There is no breakfast, you cannot pay by credit card...It is in the middle of nowhere and they don't make your journey easy. People not comprehensive. Very expensive for the service. We had no hot water, the Wi-Fi is so weak that we could not do anything.

Nice view secure . We drove down from Tucson for four days of sea kayaking . Also buying crafts from the indigenous people along the coast.

Very cute rooms, nice beach front hotel. Space for parties and events. Beds as hard as bricks. They didnt have a mattress pad or different room with a diffwrent bed available. We didn't sleep that night. Unfortunately, because of this we can't stay there again.

Location, location, location. The mantra of any hotel or real estate. And La Playa Hotel is definitely right on the money when it comes to their location. Perfectly located right on the beach, overlooking the ocean. Very nice place to stay the night, although be prepared for rock hard beds. Pros: Quiet, clean, fairly inexpensive, great location, two pools. Cons: Hard beds, no on-site restaurant.

Wonderful location and very friendly staff. Rooms with a view that you will want to write home about!! If you want to stay up all night...this is the place! Concrete beds built into the room and mattresses that are even harder!! Seriously...whoever bought these mattresses are guaranteed to have never slept on them! The location is so nice and the beds are so hard, you will never forget your stay!!

Was ok,staff very friendly,of you love to cook bring your kitchen tools with because they only provide you with plates and utensils,no pots,pans dish washing liquid or sponge,bring what you oftenly use in your kitchen,otherwise they have stove,coffee pot and grill stand. The place is ok and just right at the beach.

This place is all about location. It is in the perfect place on the coast. Now the beds are very firm so if you are looking for a soft bed to sleep on this is not the place. As for me I did not mind. The veiws and the beach here are amazing. Although when they give you your room key and tell you to keep it away from your phone do it! We were locked out for an hour intil we found someone to get us a new one because the office was not open but that was my fault not theirs. The room was very nice with a very large bathroom and walk in shower. The only drawback is that you don't have access to the beach all the time. Only between certain hours. It would have been nice to go out early in the morning. Other than that I would return here. There is some renovations being done on the upper units but it did not affect our stay at all. It is more expensive then other hotels but in my opinion much nicer so you get what you pay for. All the photos are views from the tables set up outside the rooms facing the ocean.

Recomended for couples and friends, not families (I REPEAT: NOT FAMILIES). Definitively, not worth the price. You can get an AirBnB with 4 rooms, private clean beach ... for the same price or even less. The suite we stayed at was comfortable, it has 2 rooms, but No privacy between them, because they share a wall that doesn't go all the way up to the ceilling... and there is only one bathroom. The beach I heard, had looked at better days. Today is horrible, filled with pointy shells (so many, thats´ almost impossible to walk) and it smells so strong to rotten sea products.... If you are seeking for a good beach, then stay very far away from this hotel. Be very careful at the checkout, they will do everything they can to steal you from your deposit, that is why they require it in cash. Even one minute after 12:00 they will charge you half of it.... so the real checkout from this hotel is, everyone should be out of the room and you have to be 11:59 at the frontDesk. So this is a hotel to stay for one night only in a quick visit to Quino(you will be super better off in a cleaner, more comfortable and super less expensive AirBnB).
