We came a few times for lunches and a dinner as it was close by our accommodation. We liked the pollo a la cacerola (slow cooked chicken legs cooked in an orange sauce, served with black beans and rice). The food can take some time to cook, but we enjoyed looking at the decorations while waiting. They have half an old car hung on the wall which is something unique and a beautiful old brick archway in the middle of the restaurant. For kids they have crayons and paper table cloths to draw on while you wait :)

Absolutely authentic Cuban cuisine in Morelia. I lived in Miami for 17 years and traveled to Cuba several times, and the food here takes me right back to Havana. Frituras de yuca were airy and delicious - crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. The ropa vieja and frijoles negros were outstanding. I can't wait to come back here and eat my way through the whole menu. Also, don't miss getting a mojito or daiquiri!

No Cuban cuisine for breakfast?!?! Don't expect any Cuban until past 3PM. Basic breakfast until then.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The service was a bit slow, it took a while after my food arrived before my drink came but the food was excellent. I got the dinner of all the little plates of things and enjoyed each one. When I got my left overs to go they didn’t put my beans in... I would have liked them too. Everything was really tasty, it seems to be a popular joint for locals, when I walk past they are always busy.

Amazing food, lackluster service. The waitress acted as if we were a nuisance to come in and order food. Besides my table of two there was only one other occupied table. Cuban atmosphere was a plus. I won't lie I will definitely be coming back for the food, the food over shadowed her dismissive attitude.

Yesterday for the first time, we ordered the buffet style package, there were so much food you can eat for 210 pesos (I don’t need to repeat the pics of the buffet menu, plenty of others posted it) and then the next day (Sunday), I saw they have a yellow rice chicken (only available on Sunday). This time I came alone and hoping to order the yellow rice chicken. The friendly waiter said not available and I was very disappointed. I asked for his recommendation, he told me to order the buffet style and I said I just had it yesterday. He recommended me the shrimps and I agreed to give it a try even it’s more expensive than the buffet price. When he served me with only 6 shrimps with a side of salad, rice & beans (which they are included in the buffet menu). I felt like I was being cheated just to have 6 shrimps for a higher price. I gave the buffet menu at 5 stars and the shrimp menu at 0 star. To average them equals to 2.5 stars. Don’t order their shrimps menu, not worth it at all.
