★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional birria joint. It's a rather large complex, but the food is really good. They really only serve the one dish, birria. You can have it in a broth or as tacos. The place had multiple live music bands going from table to table playing music on request (for a fee), so don't expect a quiet dining experience. But we'll worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a atmosphere to eat some great food. The mariachi, the quick service and fun people watching, WOW. Yes it’s loud, yes it’s crowded, but that’s what makes La Polar awesome. That AND of course the Birria. Careful to make the mistake that we did and order a Birria plate for yourself unless you are up for a challenge, portions are HUGE. Great to get refills on the consomé as well. Prices are relatively high for CDMX but the experience is worth it, cien por ciento ?.
