La Posada del Artesano - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

Exelente lugar, ubicación a 2 mínutos caminando de la parroquia principal, a una casa del mercado de artesanías Muy buena atención de parte de Wendy y Eduardo Presentación y limpieza del lugar "EXELENTE". en el costo de la habitación viene incluído un rico desayuno continental Toalla para la ducha Clave wifi Y un estacionamiento público frente al lugar que se puede ocupar libremente de 8 pm a 8am.

Awful hotel poor service and quality

Great location, our room was clean and comfortable, I would love to visit it again!

Good location, but shower didn’t get hot and the room was very cold. No heating! If it’s warmer weather it’s ok, but in this time of the year it’s way too cold. Reception girl wasn’t too friendly either.

The place is pretty nice. Clean, comfortable and near to the center. However... staff is terrible. In the "kitchen" you have only forks and one butter knife, so it is not possible to prepare cornflakes or mix sugar in your tea like a normal human being. I went to the second place (this place from which you have to collect the keys) and ask if I can get spoon and knife. From "very Facebook busy" receptionists I have got information that its impossible to borrow anything, but I can take my bowl of cornflakes, cup of coffee and come eat to their Bed and Breakfast. yes! I'm on my way guys... Second thing - there is no drinking water in the kitchen. 20L refilled bottle cost 20 Pesos. It's not about money. It's about recycling and reducing the plastic bottles. I had to buy large 5L bottle for my 2 days stay - it will be another plastic trash. Thank you.

Great Hostal in SMA!! The hostel owners were the nicest ever and so so helpful. The room was nice and even had an amazing unexpected really nice view of the cathedral from the room balcony.

Wonderful hostel with beautiful hosts. Wendy and Lalo have their hearts at the right place and took good care of me while staying here - up to the point where Wendy offered to get medicine from the pharmacy because I got sick from some food I had at a random restaurant. The room I stayed at was really nice; I liked it so much that I stayed seven weeks in total. The hostel is central, and different restaurants are nearby. Clearly another point that adds to the experience. On a downside, the kitchen is not really great for cooking (and lacks a sink which can be found in a different room though), yet some guests still went with it, and Wendy and Lalo, who both live at the hostel, also cook here daily. I simply went to the restaurants nearby, or prepared fruits, which I also got closely. Anyway, I would (will!) definitely go again if I ever happen to come back to San Miguel. It was clearly a wonderful experience here. Oh, yes, and since another guest has mentioned that in their review: fresh drinking water is freely available now, and I refilled my bottles whenever necessary.
