★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been 15 years since I've been at La Posada and I can assure you that they've improved everything. The communal kitchen was very rustic back then and now it is has a great cook area and great coolers for your food. The new 2 story building is amazing with a nice place to hang out upstairs. If you want to stay in the Casita's you need to book many months in advance before the thanksgiving holidays or busy winter months. They fill up fast. As for the kitchen they have a Chef that specializes in seafood and a 10 dollar dinner of the same quality would be over a hundred in the states. I got to sample their breakfast this morning and it was incredible as well. The owners are continuously working to make everything better and set the standard for the best in EPC. I consider them the leader for quality, service and hospitality and will be back there next year with my friend Gary to rock climb and enjoy the stay at La Posada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place. The staff is super friendly. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the food looked pretty good. The pool is amazing. The camping ground is pretty nice and shady. The restrooms are clean. Hot showers are really hot,but the building itself is a bit old. When I went the communal kitchen was under construction but the temporary one was pretty nice. On weekends lots of people from Monterrey go there to spend the weekend. On weekdays is mostly occupied by climbers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to stay ! There's a good restaurant where you can have great food amd nice drinks! Clean accommodations ! Big field where you can pitch out your tents or parks your van ! Lots of trees for shade or hammacs ! Big pool, can be cold but refreshing after a big day on the wall !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magical place. Continues to grow and improve year after year. Very friendly staff, many English speaking. Rooms, casitas, and glamping include breakfast from 7:30-11am. Very short walk to the base of EPC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stay here whenever we go on a climbing trip to EPC. It has a very beautiful and friendly vibe. It is extremely clean, each communal space is cleaned multiple times a day. The workers are very friendly and helpful. And the pool absolutely beautiful and the perfect spot to spend a rest day. We choose the camping option as it’s only $8/person a night. Our friends rented a casita which were very cozy and comfortable. There are hot showers too! It’s not the closest place to stay to the canyon but only a few minute walk further from other options and closer to town. Great margaritas and mojitos!Only thing I would suggest is bringing earplugs if you’re camping, the outside roosters are loud. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the restaurant to try it out. NO service, disinterested staff. We ordered at the counter and the food that arrived was very bland and obviously prepared without any finesse, pride or care. I can honestly say it was the worst Mexican food we have ever had. Went after to the bathroom (communal) and it was dirty and unwashed.
We had wanted to stay here to climb. It has a lovely atmosphere but we decided the establishment just wanted our money but wouldn’t put energy and effort into maintaining the details of the place. Much better deals around.
