★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT EAT OR DRINK HERE. This restaurant is totally over priced! We went here for drinks and asked to see the drink menu and the waiter said they didn't have a drink menu. What kind of upscale restaurant "doesn't have a drink menu"? We got 4 drinks and when we got the bill it was 680 pesos. The night before we went to dinner next door at Apoalla and the drinks were ~100 pesos per drink. They also added a 20% service charge and lied and told us it was taxes. Go somewhere else in Merida.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and service were fine. But, waiters are constantly trying to up sell you. Had to tell them to stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorites again! The remodel and new dedication to food, service and atmosphere is great! The heart of NY is the best steak I've had anywhere! The bar heavy pours. The portions are very generous and the service is excellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a pseudo Argentine restaurant, the chorizo has nothing to do with a real Argentinian one, same for the sweatbreads, as per the asado de tira, it was good but without bone as it is served in Argentina. Wine prices are high and the Argentinian wine selection is poor and expensive. Definitely if you want to eat Argentinian food this is not the place to go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here for our anniversary. We were unlucky in the waiter we got. We ordered wine. He said didn’t have it but would bring one similar. It was triple price. Never told us. Food was mediocre. Salmon terrible. My husbands steak wasn’t at all nice. Very overpriced for poor service. We tipped 15% as the whole experience shocking spoilt our night. The waiter got rude and said rich Americans always tip more. We are English and he didn’t deserve anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered fries, empanadas and a salad. The fries were actually offensive. All I tasted was nasty old fryer oil. Sniffed the empanadas and realized that there would be no way I could stomach them because they only smell of terrible old fryer oil. I dug deep to find two stars instead of one. I’ll give two because they sent a bread basket thing that had two mini banana muffins that were tasty. I ate some of the salad because I really wanted a salad. But the greens had that pink color that means they’re not fresh. The spinach was sad as well. I forced a couple of bites though. I tasted the sauces that came with the empanadas and they were okay I guess, but very light in flavor. All I can assume is they are struggling financially or else they would change that fryer oil more often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The biggest positive surprise in terms of great food. I had hard time to find something for me as I do not eat meat and in Mexico is kind of bummer.
Whatever U pay there is worth the money spent. That soup was amazing.
