La Ria es una zona tranquila de mar rodeada de vegetacion donde puedes hacer kayak con seguridad. puedes pescar. tienes cerca el malecón de Progreso.

Tiene todos los servicios el mirador está increíble puedes tomar fotografías fantasticas. El restaurante sirve comida recién preparada variedad de mariscos y pescados todo es fresco y proviene de la zona. La atención es personalizada, amable y cálida definitivamente un lugar para volver frecuentemente.
It is a beautiful place offering kayak rentals, boat rides and paddle surf boards. It is wonderful to stroll paddling through the mangrove swamp and enjoy the beauty of nature. It has all the services, the viewpoint is incredible, you can take fantastic photos. The restaurant serves freshly prepared food variety of seafood and fish everything is fresh and comes from the area. The attention is personalized, friendly and warm, definitely a place to return frequently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. We did a sunset kayaking trip, which I highly recommend. Saw many pelicans amazingly close, and various other birds. David was our guide (I'm not sure if there are others or if it's just him), and he obviously loves his job. It will help if you have some kayaking experience, as you will be steering through some tight spaces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a great place to go for a paddle. They rent single kayaks for 100 pesos/hour and double kayaks are also available. There is a huge tidal estuary to explore, most of it very shallow, and the mangroves create a beautiful environment. There is an abundance of birds including brown pelicans, huge white pelicans, cormorants, frigate birds, snowy egrets, and the absolutely stunning great blue herons and great egrets. The mangroves create a complex maze of lakes, islands, and tunnels that is so much fun to explore. Be careful that you don't get lost! I always take a map with me because once you are surrounded by mangroves it all looks the same.
