OMG! What a great place. There had live marimba music and they played songs like "Killing Me Softly With His Song", "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" remember the movie from the 80s? The food was delicious! I loved their quesadillas with Chaya. I had never tried that before. Panuchos with cochinita pibil and plantins with black beans, all was great. Drinks and service were excellent! I enjoyed my time there. I invite you to visit ??

I ate at Riviera while visiting CDMX with a friend who had lived in the city previously. This was one of his favorite restaurants and I now know why! We ordered a selection of plates and they were all delicious. The Quesadillas de Chaya and the Sopa de Lima are a must. Wholly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking to experience comida yucateca!

This place has great food and great service. If you have tourist-friends and want to take them to a nice place for lunch, this would be the place to go to. Their tacos de cochinera pibil we’re amazing and the margaritas also great. The staff was super friendly and even offered my Canadian friend a sample of mezcal so she could know what it was, super quick, and helpful. I was there for lunch and it wasn’t packed but I’m sure at night it might require a reservation or waiting to get a table. I’d be definitely going back to this place soon, though

Great place to enjoy traditional from Yucatan and to have some drinks. I suggest you order a couple of the starters. All tacos, panuchos and salbutes are really good. Usually there is latin music such as salsa, cumbia and similars (louder than a regular restaurant but not annoying). Recommended for any day of the week.

Slightly limited menu for vegetarians - but let me say, the BEST cheese quesadilla I’ve had since coming to Mexico! Staff were amazingly friendly, the ambience is lovely for a lunch or dinner, and the prices very affordable. They also serve you complimentary tortilla chips and (real ones, fried and delicious), along with an amazing salsa, hummus & eggplant dips. Don’t feel rushed. They’re used to dishing out things quickly and fresh - but take your time, order 1 dish at a time, and enjoy your meal for hours! Portions are fairly normal, but definitely filling. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal and a great price to go!!

Great spot for groups, particularly if you sit outside (it’s on a lovely, relatively calm block). Tasty food from the Yucatan
