★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un monumento bello develado el 28 de julio de 2018 en conmemoración a los festejos de la Feria del Chile en Nogada, este monumento que da forma a la leyenda Mexica romántica por excelencia, hablo de la historia de trágico amor de Popocatépetl e Iztaccíhuatl, donde la princesa se enamoró de tal guerrero y quien fue enviado a Oaxaca para vender al enemigo como condición para ganar el amor de su amada, quien fue engañada por su padre que el guerrero había perdido la vida en batalla y de tal tristeza murió y Popocatépetl al regresar a reclamar el amor de la princesa con la cabeza del enemigo en mano, ante tal noticia la tomó en sus brazos la llevó al monte y se ofreció en sacrificio para convertirse en montañas y él cuidaría el sueño de su amada con una antorcha por toda la eternidad
