La Sirena Gordita was established in 2014, but was 10 years in the planning stage in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. With more than 30 years of cooking and bar experience, based on traditional recipes, we only planned to be an extension of Villa Star of the Sea, solely for the guests of Villa Star of the Sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Sirena Gordita is an amazing restaurant with the most spectacular views of the beach, ocean and sunset. The restaurant and bar have comfortable covered seating to keep you out of the sun if you wish. We had great bloody Mary’s and mango margaritas. The glassware with the starfish on them are an added touch. The owner Eilleen made a special Sunday brunch for our group of 10 people when we called only 2 hours in advance. Super accommodating. Good menu and tasty specials every day. The guitar player singer was excellent and quiet enough that he didn’t disturb our conversation. The wall artwork and decor add to the ambiance. Our bartender/server was very polite and handsome!
You can drop in most anytime even in the off season. We just love the relaxing atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very peaceful, beautiful place on the ocean, mango margaritas as well as the food was delicious; our friends, and the other guests were well distanced; restaurant maintains all sanitary protocols. Very highly recommended! They also have four units for nightly or short term rental, all facing the ocean, including a pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this place while walking the beach on a Sunday morning. They weren't open yet but we were invited to sit and have a cup of coffee while waiting for the kitchen to open. We stayed for brunch and I can't say enough about how good it was. The food was prepared and presented in such a way I felt as though I was in a very high end restaurant. If you are in the area make a point of reserving a table on their website to ensure that you can experience this hidden gem.

The food menú changes often and the signature cocktail menú is not only visually stunning and unique with every drink but TASTY as heck. If you’re looking for a little daytime getaway located on an expensive beach then this is the place to go. Due to location, I suggest that you call in advance for reservations and/or availability.
