★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is great and the selection of drinks is even better anywhere from coffee and chocolate to tequila and charanda. You can also find traditional food and desserts. Stop for a coffee or a drink and a cigar right at the edge of the Plaza. The price is right but the place gets crowded and service can take a bit long.

Despite being vegetarian, we found adequate choice of sopa tarasca, corunda con raja y queso and spaghetti. The lemonade was fantastic as well. Greatly appreciate that all waiters wear mask, face shield and gloves. Clean toilets. Cash only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inside the restaurant is classic colonial architecture with a rich ambiance. Outside on the sidewalk sitting under the arcade overlooking the plaza is just perfect. We tried their Michoacán specialties and enjoyed the exploration. Service is relaxed so don't expect to be in a fast food environment but the staff are cheerful and attentive. No credit cards!
Highly recommend a visit.
