La Table de Andrée - 36000 Guanajuato

This was perhaps the best meal I had in GTO. Aside from the quality of the food was the spectacular service. The chef went through the entire menu with us (in English or French). I cannot recommend it enough.

We like to try new restaurants so we rarely go to the same ones however La Table De Andree is an exception. We went 4 times in the 10 days we stayed in Guanajato. We tried most of the menu and all plates are oustanding and with so much flavour. Thierry the Chef takes the time to come and great you and genuiely does his best to deliver a great experience to his customers. The staff is very nice too. Also price wise well positioned conpared to other restaurants in town. Well done Thierry and team.

This was excellent! Authentic and wonderfully prepared. Excellent small wine list offering good options in all price ranges. I am happy to recommend this lovely restaurant.

Our favorite restaurant in Guanajuato! The atmosphere is cozy and personal and the food is outstanding. The owner and chef, Thierry, takes time to explain the menu, makes great recommendation based on your preferences, and does his best to accommodate your special requests. His passion and pride in his art is contagious and made it a great experience for us. We had the mushroom risotto, salmon with mustard sauce, duck confit tacos, meditarrean salad, mushroom soup and the chocolate cake. Everything was tasty, with balanced and complex flavors. Duck confit tacos and the mushroom soup were especially standouts to us. We will definitely come back when we are in Guanajuato again!

We dined at this amazing gem. The chef personally adjusted our choices to comply with the AIP (auto inmune protocol) initially shy to do such a big ask from a French chef I was genuinely touched by the interest he showed in my situation. The food was so delicious, the place is so beautiful, we truly felt special tonight. If you visit Guanajuato you need to eat here!

This is easily the best restaurant in Guanajuato. The food is incredible—the flavors, textures, everything! The restaurant has seven tables or so, and we were lucky to get a table on a Saturday night. The chef, Thierry, came to check on our experience, which was a nice personal touch. Fun fact: Andrée is the name of his mother. :) We had the duck tacos, arrachera in salsa perillada, shrimp curry with mushroom risotto, escargot, and mushroom cream soup. I would absolutely recommend all of the above, and I can’t wait to come back and try the other dishes!

Wow!! Dinner here tonight. Absolutely fabulous. I had the mushroom risotto and my partner had the beef bourguignon. Both were fantastic. Great help. Great setting. Highly recommend!

La table de Andree is such a wonderful restaurant that you MUST visit while you are in Guanajuato. This quaint establishment offers a remarkable eating experience in every facet. Chef Thierry is truly a professional, authentic, and passionate man who strives and succeeds at providing genuine French Cuisine to the people he serves. The Service - From the moment you enter, Chef Thierry received us and sat us down while providing us with the Menu and willing to answer all questions we might have. He speaks French, Spanish, and English fluently and nothing is better than the Chef explaining and recommending dishes. Attentive service with everything being served on time and friendly service that makes you feel wonderful. The Prices - Everything on the menu is quite affordable nad accessible. My personal experience; 2 Appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, 1 wine glass, and 1 dessert. All of this for approximately 42 USD. The Food - Delicious, tasty, fragrant, exquisite, magnificent and the best adjectives possible to describe the food. However, the best word that comes to my mind to properly describe the food is, 'Balanced.' The Ambiance - Quaint, relaxed, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The Staff - Extremely friendly, courteous, helpful, and attentive. The Location - In Downtown Guanajuato approximately 100 meters from Alhóndiga de Granaditas and less than 100 meters from Mercado de Hidalgo.
