Don Rogelio siempre atento y profesional. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
My favorite place to eat authentic Spanish food in town. I have visited them several times and they have proven to be a guarantee. The delicious croquettes, the perfect balance between béchamel and serrano ham. The paella cooked to the perfect texture, full of flavor. Both shrimp and pork offer high cooking, freshness and seasoning. The chorizo with cider, the quality chorizo, soft enough, the stew soupy but thick, loaded with flavor. Also, mastery in their sauces. To close with a flourish, the service is exceptional. Don Rogelio always attentive and professional. I highly recommend it.

La tasquita del jamón Is commonly visited by ex-costumers from "la cantina del bosque" one of my favourite culinary canteens in mexico city with a tone of spanish cuisine. The guy who runs the place is know as "charlie" great man who knows how to treat high standards meals with friends. We tried "pescado a la sal" "tacos de chamorro' and milanese manchega. 3 specialities that are a MUST to try here. Price quality is 5 out of 5.

Worst ambience, worst food (by far) in Mexico city, the kind of food you would not give to a homeless person, yet here you would pay 250 for terrible salad or rotten fish old paella. Places like this should not be in business. Vomit-inducing just to remember that dinner (which we left on the plate, mostly, after spitting some back).

Zero (0) rating would be more appropriate. I do not know who left positive reviews, probably owner himself. This is the worst food we have had in 30+ years (or more). We had terrible soup, then salad (with tuna) and paella. Salad was leaves of cabbage, cut, and on top of those was canned (from the can, not best either) tuna. That salad cost 200+ pesos. After that to paella. I had to spit it out, as the shrimp was rotten and meat was cooked probably weeks ago and reheated. People who work there have no pride of any kind. Places like that (also with terrible interior) should not be in business.
