★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were suggested this place by 2 expats and after visiting left very disappointed. If you are an American or european I would recommend not dinning here as it is a different experience than what we are used to and we are adventurous travelers. We left majority of the plates uneaten (we tried everything) and the "snacks" that come for free are no bueno. I am not sure why they even bring the snacks as they are mostly hot dog based and Most people do not touch them.

We had the stuffed pork and octopus ceviche. Both extremely tender and delicious. Washed down with a number of glasses of vino blanco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny Margaritas, I was extremely unimpressed and simply no flavour. Botanas not too bad (potato, chips and ceviche Pescados). Main meal good. EDIT 6-Aug-21: the Pescado Frito was fresh and excellent. Civiche was the same price of similar restaurants in Progreso Malecon for half the size, a disappointment though tasted good. The tiny tumbler of Margarita continues to be a huge disappointment.

The Margaritas on the rocks were well crafted and delicious, best I've had so far in Chelem.. We'll be back.
