Las tostadas tienen su origen en la época prehispánica y su modo de preparación no dista mucho del proceso actual: colocaban las tortillas en las brasas del fogón donde calentaban las tortillas, hasta que obtenían una apariencia crocante y completamente rígida.
They have lowered the quality of the products but they are still rich. The tostadas have their origin in pre-Hispanic times and their way of preparation is not far from the current process: they placed the tortillas on the embers of the stove where they heated the tortillas, until they obtained a crunchy and completely rigid appearance.
