★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such a fun thing to do. While far from Sayulita or PV it was worth the trip. We were local tourist boating through the mangroves, looking for birds and crocodiles. At the mouth of the spring there is a small rehabilitation center with crocodile, jaguar, birds etc. Bring your swim suit to get in the perfectly clear water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The boat tour of the mangroves was super cool. Really beautiful, great sightseeing for nature lovers and just a neat experience. The nature reserve is a bit sad: especially seeing the jaguars in their cages which are quite small and dirty. You have the option to skip this part though so if animals in captivity make you sad don't go! The crocodile reserve at the end of the tour is cool and the restaurant and swimming hole are a nice touch.
