La Tozi Galeria Hotel - 29230 San Cristóbal de las Casas

Great place for your stay in San Cristobal. La Tozi is run by a very friendly Spanish girl. Even though the hotel is located in the busy city center, the rooms are in the back and no noise enters the rooms. At the upper first floor, all walls are made of small glass windows offering an amazing view over the city's roofs. Here, you also find the restaurant and yoga room. Beds are very comfortable.

The food and coffee were great, the service was very good, and the views of the surrounding area were breathtaking. We had breakfast, but the dinner menu looks excellent as well and we can't wait to try it.

We received a great welcome from the hostess Anna! Lovely after a long journey. Felt like homecoming. Comfortable room with all facilities, best location in town. Restaurant for breakfast,... was amazing with super view!

Best view in the city., Beautiful stunning rooftop bar that wouldn't be out of place in Monaco or a top-end luxury beach hotel in EUROPE. Amazing reasonably priced cocktails made by the lovely Ale who was very attentive and friendly all evening. Cool and understated with art gallery attached and indoor and outdoor seating and large glass windows floor to ceiling. Impeccable service! We are hooked!

Great views. But possibly the most inspiring veggie burger you'll have, the only vegetarian main course at a restaurant which also has a yoga space! Will be back if and when the menu changes.

For the price here, you can find way better hotels. The place it’s ok, but the service and cleanliness not. They were kind enough to understand we were not comfortable there and give us back our money.

All I can say is, wow. I saw on one of the booking sites that they had some apartments and suites available, so I did the wise thing and showed up in person, rather than booking online (tip: people in San Cristobal hate paying commissions to the booking sites, and if you just show up and book in person, they give you a rate that is cheaper for you yet more profitable for them) I asked what his best unit was, so he showed me... this place is frickin incredible, it's a huge, beautifully decorated 2 bedroom with tons of light and modern finishings. As a walk in, I paid 5000 pesos for 1 week. I would have booked for longer but unfortunately someone else reserved it for the following week... I'm not surprised, it's an amazing apartment. It's also in the best part of town, on a street that's super lively yet the apartment is very quiet, because the whole hotel is set back from the street and built around a courtyard. Highly recommended, just don't book online. And to the owner: your pics of the 2 bedroom on Booking don't do it justice... it's also way bigger than 40 square meters, it's more like 80 :)
